Take care to protect your teeth during the holiday season.
It is a festive time of year. It’s a time for indulgences like cake and candy. I even saw cakes on the food channel with candy inside of the cake. It is creative and fun to look at, but it seems like a disaster in waiting for some unsuspecting guest. So as you go for seconds at the buffet, keep in mind that your teeth may need some extra attention and care to combat potential hazards of sweets on your choppers. You do not want an emergency room dental visit on Christmas Eve of New Year’s Day!

Your summer break should not include a break in coverage from the student insurance plan at your College or University
If you are on the school sponsored student health insurance plan purchased through your college or university, make sure you consider enrolling in the Summer session coverage to get you through to the next school year. You may already be on it. But unless you already joined for an annual rate that does not expire until the end of the summer, or you purchased Spring/Summer coverage to get you through summer, you need to make sure you find out right away if there is a Summer rate available before you leave for the break. Did you get the license plate number of that Customer Service Rep who just “helped” you? (because you feel like you were run over by a car)
After working for two companies with large customer service groups who took calls for many different products, I learned a lot about what to do when I call companies seeking assistance. That is not to say I don’t “shoot the messenger” when they tell me something I do not agree with or like. Nor does it mean I can be assured of outstanding customer service by using any of my tricks. But knowledge is power and I really think if you consider the tips below, your chance of successfully communicating your needs and getting back a clear and correct answer will improve.
